Sketch Itinerary : Delhi - Jaipur - Ranthambore - Agra - Gwalior - Shivpuri - Orcha - Khajurao - Bandahavgarh - Kanha - Raipur.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Welcome to the India jungle tour by Erco Travels. Arrive in Delhi, the capital of India where representatives from Erco Travels will assist you in transferring to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day in the hotel.

Day 2: In Delhi

On the 2nd day of the tour, take a day tour of Delhi to see its major tourist attractions. You can visit the Red Fort and Jama Masjid near Chandni Chowk in the morning. Next in the afternoon, you can visit the India Gate, Parliament House and Qutub Minar. Dinner will be in the hotel followed by overnight stay.

Day 3: Delhi Jaipur

The 3rd day begins with your breakfast in the hotel followed by a road-trip to Jaipur, Rajasthan. It will take roughly four hours to reach the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur (270 km away from Delhi). Arrive in Jaipur and proceed straight to the hotel for lunch. Rest of the day is free leisure activities. You can visit the local markets in the evening.

Day 4: In Jaipur

Begin the 4th day of the tour after the breakfast to visit the prime attractions of Jaipur. Take a morning elephant ride to the Amber Fort located on a hilltop. Amber Fort is a fine blend of Hindu and Rajput architectural styles. After having lunch, visit the other attractions of Jaipur like the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall Museum. Evening is free for shopping in the local markets.

Day 5:Jaipur Ranthambore National Park

On 5th day, after enjoying your breakfast, depart from the hotel and take a three-hour road-trip to Ranthambore. Famous for its tiger population, the Ranthambore National Park is a major wildlife tourist attraction in Rajasthan. Arrive in Ranthambore and proceed to a jungle lodge. Enjoy a late-afternoon safari in the jungle to the wildlife of Ranthambore. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: In Ranthambore

On the 6th day, get up early in the morning to have another safari to see the tigers. These wild cats can be easily spotted inside the Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary. After a long day of safari and wildlife tour inside the park, return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and spending the night.

Day 7: Ranthmbhore Jaipur Agra

In the morning of the 7th day of this tour, depart from the lodge for Agra in Uttar Pradesh after the breakfast. On the outskirts of Agra lies an abandoned, but well-preserved town known as the Fatehpur Sikri, which was built during the Mughal reign in India. The city is a fine example of mixture of Hindu and Mughal architectural style. Then, continue towards Agra and proceed straight to the hotel. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 8: Agra Gwalior

Day 8th of the tour begin with a delicious breakfast in the hotel. Then, take a half-day tour of Agra to see Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah. After the lunch, proceed to Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh by surface (2-hour drive). Upon arrival in Gwalior, proceed to the hotel for check-in. Dinner will be served in the hotel followed by overnight stay.


Day 9: In Gwalior

Your 9th day of this tour is reserved for a full-day sightseeing tour of Gwalior. Visit the Gwalior Fort, Teli ka Mandir, Saas Bahu Temple, Man Mandir Palace and Jai Vilas Palace on the day tour. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 10: Gwalior Shivpuri

Begin the 10th day of this tour with your breakfast in the hotel. It is now time to depart from the Gwalior hotel and move to Shivpuri by surface (2-hours drive). Upon arrival in Shivpuri, proceed to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Dinner will be served in the hotel.


Day 11: In Shivpuri

The 11th day is reserved for adventure and wildlife activities in the forests of Shivpuri. Visit the nearby Madhav National Park on the day tour. Get back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and night stay.

Day 12: Shivpuri Orcha

In the morning of the 12th day of this tour, depart from the hotel in Shivpuri after the breakfast and proceed to Orchha. On the way to Orchha, visit the Karera Bird Sanctuary that was established to protect the Great Indian Bustard. Afterwards, continue towards Orchha. Upon arrival in Orchha, transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 13: In Orcha

The 13th day of this tour is reserved for a sightseeing tour of Orchha. The tourist attractions of Orchha are Jahangir Mahal, Ram Raja Temple, Phool Bagh and Laxminarayan Temple. After the historic tour of Orchha, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 14: Orchha Khajuraho

Begin the 14th day of this tour by driving to Khajuraho after the breakfast. Khajuraho is about 172 km away from Orchha, and it will take less than three-hours to reach there. Arrive in Khajuraho and proceed to the hotel for check-in and lunch. Then, take a guided tour of the temples of Khajuraho. Also, enjoy an evening sound and light show that is organized for the tourists daily. After the tour of Khajuraho temples, return to the hotel for dinner and spending the night.


Day 15: Khajuraho Bandhavgarh

Next stop is Bandhavgarh National Park, the land of tigers. Take a three-hour road trip to Bandhavgarh after the breakfast. Arrive in Bandhavgarh and proceed to a jungle resort for check-in and lunch. In the evening take a short safari tour of Bandhavgarh National Park. Dinner will be served back at the resort.

Bandhavgarh is famous for its Bengal tiger population. Besides tigers, other animals to be seen in Bandhavgarh National Park are elephants, leopard, sambar, barking deer, nilgai and cheetal. Early mornings are the best time to see tigers, so getup early and have a jungle safari. There are two options available for safari, elephant and jeep. After breakfast, continue your tour of Bandhavgarh and visit the Bandhavgarh Fort. A variety of bird species can also be seen inside the park. After an exciting day, return to the resort in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 17: Bandhavgarh Kanha

After the breakfast, take a long road-trip to Kanha National Park (five-hour drive). Arrive in Kanha National Park and proceed to a resort for check-in. Spend the rest of the evening in the resort.


Day 18: Kanha National Park

On the 18th day of the India jungle tour, explore the wilderness of Kanha National Park. The wildlife of Kanha National Park was Rudyard Kipling's inspiration behind his famous novel that is named Jungle Book. This park has a good population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, sloth bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog. After the full-day safari tour of Kanha, return to the resort in the evening for dinner.


Day 19: Kanha Raipur

In the morning, drive to Raipur in Chhattisgarh after the breakfast. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Dinner will be in the hotel.


Day 20: Raipur Delhi

After enjoying the breakfast in the hotel, it is now time to depart from Raipur and proceed to Delhi. Transfer to the airport to board a flight back to Delhi. Arrive at the Delhi airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is for shopping and leisure activities. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.


Day 21: Departure from Delhi

On the last day of this tour, checkout from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the next flight back to your home country.
